CAF activities over the past years;

 

  • October 2006, Agusta Bell 204 ex Royal Netherlands Navy “227” transported from Sweden to The Netherlands, Anna Paulowna.
  • November 2006, started disassembling “227” for inventarisation condition and work to be carried out.
  • 2007 further disassembling and collecting logbooks and paperwork in order to start registration process.
  • 2008 starting looking for parts worldwide, as several parts were missing or damaged.
  • 2009 starting disassembling the engine and purchasing 6 rolls royce gnome engines from the U.S.A
  • 2010 prepearing the fuselage for painting by sandpapering the airframe, tail painted in accordance with military specs.
  • 2011 painted main fuselage and started to assemble the complete aiframe again and overhauling the hoist. Registration in place as PH-UEY with the Dutch CAA.
  • 2012 preparing the helicopter for the first Airshow at De Kooi, so called Heldair show. First presentation to the overal public.
  • 2013 helicopter prepared for the Airforce airshow at Volkel and further assembling.
  • Planning for 2013 and 2014, certification and finalizing Agusta “227”. Acquiring funds for the exploitation of the “227”
  • Planning voor 2015 and further, participate in Airshows in Europa.
  • The CAF (Classic Aircraft Foundation) is also a ful member of the NFHL (Dutch Federation for Historical Aviation. (Nederlandse federatie voor Historische Luchtvaart)
  • 2016 change of board due to death of our dearest financial board member Koenraad Koetsier on 5 February 2016 †. A very sad period in which not very many activities have been undertaken. We all had to recover from that because we have a very close relation with our team.
  • New updates KvK/Chamber of Commerce, Bank account and information on website/plans afterwards.
  • The CAF (Classic Aircraft Foundation) became a member of the NFHL (Dutch Federation for Historical Aviation. (Nederlandse federatie voor Historische Luchtvaart) in 2016.
  • Preparing and transport of the Agusta “227” to the National Dutch Aviodrome Museum in Lelystad.
  • Exhibited the Agusta “227” since August 2017 in the exhibition about 100 years jubilee of the Dutch Military Services (MLD) in The Netherlands.
  • Interview board CAF in magazine All Clear August 2018.
  • Planning for 2019/2020, certification and finalizing Agusta “227”. Acquiring funds for the exploitation of the “227”.
  • Preparing facilities in The Netherlands in combination with dynamic shows and a static museum on one of the Dutch isles, named Texel, which will take 2019 and 2020.
  • Planning voor 2021 and further, participate in Airshows in Europa.
